Words of Wisdom are events hosted by McGill Students for Geriatric Health that promote an open dialogue and discussion on topics of geriatric health. Through guest speakers, film viewings, and other engaging events, Words of Wisdom allow individuals to expand their knowledge and understanding on the subject matter of geriatric health.

- Lecture Series. Prevention and Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Diseases: A Student Perspective (March 24, 2015). Dr. Serge Gauthier (M.D., FRCPC), director of the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Unit and the Alzheimer and Cognitive Disorders Clinic at McGill’s Centre for Studies in Aging and Dr. Julia Chabot, an internal medicine resident finishing her 3rd year, and a soon-to-be geriatric fellow, were our guest speakers at this event.
